Over two carefully structured days, you’ll go from meeting the equipment to controlling the wing, learning launch technique and progressing towards your first real flights.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN

PG1 theory exam
You will need to complete your PG1 theory exam as well – this is a 2 hour module held online.A instructor will give a power point presentation and answer all your question.All paperwork, course material, a folder and pen will be supplied.Investment $100.
Do I need to complete PG1 first?
Yes. PG1 builds the ground-handling, launch and early-flight foundations. You’ll need all these skills to progress to PG2. If you trained elsewhere, contact us so we can understand your current level.
Is this for complete beginners?
Yes. The course starts at the beginning and assumes no previous paragliding experience.
How long is the course?
Two days, with approximately six to seven hours of training each day.
What happens on each day?
Day one builds your understanding of the equipment, preparation, launch technique and wing control. Day two develops launching, guided flights, landing and the essential knowledge behind them, as conditions and progression allow.
Do I need my own equipment or transport?
No. The school provides the paragliding equipment needed for training and transport to and from the flying sites.
What should I bring?
Bring sturdy ankle-supporting footwear, a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, water and clothing suitable for a full day outdoors.
