I recently completed my PG2 licence through the school and I honestly couldn’t have asked for better instructors. Throughout the entire training process, they were patient, professional and supportive. Their knowledge and passion for paragliding really stood out, and they always took the time to explain things clearly and make sure I felt confident at every stage.
Learning to paraglide can feel challenging at times, but Chris and Jason created an environment that was safe, encouraging, and enjoyable from start to finish.
I’m very grateful for everything they taught me and would highly recommend their school to anyone wanting to learn paragliding.

This was the most comprehensive paragliding instruction and course I have undertaken. I previously had a BHPA (British license) and a Thai license. The level of training and skills I received here far exceeded either of those two courses. This school is perfect for people who are committed to growing and developing their skills, have a growth mindset, humility and patience to invest time in learning. It would not suit people turning up to tick a box and get a license as fast as possible. I am extremely grateful for the dedication and instruction and attention to detail provided by Chris and Jason over the last two months training that allowed me to develop into a much safer, skilful and competent pilot. Cheers guys!

What a great course! The entire team are so passionate about flying and teaching which makes it a friendly and enjoyable environment. With not a lot of flying hours, I always felt safe in their hands and was able to learn a lot and improve how I fly. If you considering doing the course… go for it!!! You’ll never have to do anything you not comfortable with and you’ll definitely come out of it a better pilot. Loved the experience.

This was my second SIV with Chris and the team and it was awesome! great learning environment with progress set at your pace. I learnt so much on the first one, it really opened my eyes to how much i was yet to learn. Stalls, back fly and spins this time round were great fun and really helped me progress and improve my wing handling skills.
I cant recommend the course highly enough to pilots of all stages of their flying career.

I recently completed my PG2 license at Infinity Paragliding School, and it was a fantastic experience. To begin, you learn to fly in a stunning location surrounded by the mountains of Queenstown. On top of that, Chris and his entire team provide a very thorough training, both practical and theoretical, that will bring you to a solid level to fly independently and confidently.

So grateful for having started my paragliding journey with Infinity Paragliding. Chris and Jason run a top notch operation and their passion for paragliding shines through in their teaching.
I feel I have gotten the best heads start in my paragliding journey and I got to do it all in one of the most spectacular parts of the world and with great people too!

Couldn't imagine a better place to start my flying adventure - great location, wonderful co-students but most importantly amazing instructors - their skill, knowledge, patience, sense of humor when needed and above all incredible will to teach is what makes Infinity such a great place to venture into this world. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back, because there's always more to learn...

This was one of the greatest experiences I’ve could of had.
I challenged myself to travel to NZ, find a paragliding school, a place to stay and so on, everything in 6 weeks.
It was very exhausting but thanks to the dynamic and professional way of teaching I was able to learn.
I really am thankful to have these well experienced mentors who helped me to stay as focused as possible, safety first!! .
The price from what I've heard is not the cheapest, but the fresh paragliding students from other schools I've come across definitely seemed less aware of what they were doing in their minds which led to them being less comfortable (Im not a professional just my impression).
The maybe a little higher prices partly come down to less students per trainer too. Somedays we were just two or three students so our instructors were fully there for us to brief, debrief and ask questions.
I’ve heard stories about schools with more then 12 students…
I fell in love with the sport and I just want to say thank you.

I had an excellent time with the guys! Chris, Oli, Jack and Jason are legends who really know their stuff and put their heart and passion into the job. Clear instructions at every stage, calm and relaxed and a very enjoyable ride. Absolutely loved the quality of training and equipment provided. Do I need any experience?
No. The tandem, PG1 and PG2 pathways are designed to meet complete beginners where they are.
What if I’m nervous about flying?
That’s completely normal. Your training progresses in manageable steps, with clear instruction and no pressure to rush.
Which course should I choose?
Choose the tandem if you want to experience flight first, PG1 to begin learning, PG2 to become independent, or advanced training if you already hold a rating. If you’re unsure, talk with us before booking.
What happens when the weather changes?
Paragliding is weather-dependent. Conditions guide the day, and training only proceeds when it supports safe, useful learning.
